At the end of 2012, we had a chance for a mini getaway to Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is actually a 3-hours journey from where we live; which is not too far. However, with our busy crazy schedule, it had been impossible to take a long vacation (by long I mean 1 week or more) at a time. Hence, when our friends invited us to come along, we immediately said yes. Now, what’s so special about Lake Tahoe? It is the largest alpine lake in North America, located along the border of California and Nevada. It is a home to ski resorts and summer outdoor recreation parks. It’s always fun to visit Lake Tahoe, whether it is winter/summer time. You can enjoy the snow/ski resorts during Winter and the boat houses during Summer.
It’s been a while since I play in the snow. So, I really had a blast! This time, we decided to ride a snowmobile – something that we never did before. We had a 2-hour free time there and we visited various spots to take quick snaps of the scenery and us. It was literally gorgeous, seeing everything covered in white. Too bad the weather was a bit gloomy so we could not get a clear view of the Lake Tahoe from the mountain top. In short, I’d loved to visit this place again soon!
