End of 2012, we had a chance for a mini getaway to Lake Tahoe. The place is about 3 hours from where we live; not too far. However, with our busy crazy schedule, it’s impossible to take a long vacation (1 week or more) at that time. Hence, when our friends invited us to come along, we said yes right away. Now, what’s so special about Lake Tahoe - Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America, located along the border between California and Nevada. It is definitely a home to ski restorts and summer outdoor recreation. It’s always fun visiting Lake Tahoe on Winter/ Summer time. Snow/ ski resorts during Winter and Boat House during Summer.
It’s been a while since I played in the snow. So, I really had a blast! This time, we decided to do snowmobile – something that we never did before. The tour was 2-hour and we went on different stops so we could take quick snaps of the scenery and us. It was literally gorgeous, seeing everything covered in white. It’s just too bad that the weather was a bit gloomy so we could not get clear view of the Lake Tahoe when we were on top. In short, I love to visit this place again soon!
I just love mini-get aways and this looks like such a great place to visit! Love that snow!
